Ships feature pretty simplistic controls, with W increasing the engines power, and S reversing the Ship. Once your ship has exceeded flooding of 50 percent, the timer will start regardless of your ships current state, wether its locked, parked or still being driven.

The timer will also reset if a new driver takes over the ship. To prevent a despawn timer, simply park or lock your ship before you leave it.
Once the driver has left the seat of the ship, the despawn timer will begin counting down. Please note, all ships feature a despawn timer. Whichever Team has more Ships in the sea, will likely have access to more Islands, and can easily dominate their combatants. Regardless, of what you chose, Ships offer an effective, and reliable means to assert naval dominance within the sea. Ships fit a wide variety or roles, these include: (Note: The Landing Craft doesn't feature any Turrets.) Every ship is outfitted with a variety of Turrets, to bolster their offensive and defensive capabilities. Each Ship ranges in size, and firepower, and generally requires a crew of 2 + to be used efficiently. There are currently 7 Ships in the game that a player can use, with 6 being unlocked by everyone, and 1 being locked behind a paywall.
